Cimarron Light and Power Systems, L.L.C. based in Huron, South Dakota, is announcing the charter of Consolidated Power Producers, Inc. (CPPI) an electric power utility company.  CPPI is an electric power utility company committed to providing expertise in the design, engineering, construction and finance of alternative energy projects.

CPPI offers landholders and private and public industries the opportunity to develop and own their own electric generation, transmission, and distribution systems in association with CPPI.  An electric light and power utility company, CPPI is dedicated to the design, build, and financing of alternative energy and distributed generation systems. 

“In its endeavors in the wind power industry, Cimarron came to the conclusion that there is a need for a new electric utility dedicated to the field of alternative energy development. We discovered that people either didn’t know where to go for help, or had to go several places for guidance and information. Consolidated Power Producers, Inc. is prepared to assist in a turnkey service offering design, build, and financing of complete generation, transmission, and distribution systems as well as the operation and maintenance of the facilities and the marketing of the power produced."

Most wind farm developments currently being built follow a formula wherein a landowner receives an annual payment for having turbines placed on his or her land.  As a partner in Consolidated Power Producers, Inc., the landowner has the opportunity to share in all the rights and privileges afforded a participant in this new electric utility.

CPPI will assist landowners interested in developing their own wind farms in the Dakotas and Montana and other viable sites nationwide to form local associations and accumulate parcels of land suitable for development of wind farms as well as any other alternative energy project.
